Dear Friends,

As you all know that now the results of Two years efforts of Our IIISLA Council under leadership of Sh.R.K.Elango, President  & Sh.Ashok Kumar , Secretary  are now coming in front of members of Course these all not be appreciated by the Non Practicing Surveyor/self styled leader having no base in local area/profession & this is their problem & & we have to work only for professional surveyors whose living hood depends upon our noble profession..

Colleagues Friends, the result as Letter of MOF & FSLRC report & Now Gazette Notification is only due to team work of Council with the unconditional support of our members but still few frustrated person who has no interest in our Noble profession going to flare a wrong message about the IIISLA Council Team who worked very hard for the up gradation of profession .

Our aim of mandatory membership has already  implemented in public sector as per order of MOF & now Gazette notification has also in front of you according to which every SLA holder must having Membership of IIISLA which is a Milestone in  history of our Profession & every SLA has now follow the code of Conduct/Ethics of IIISLA as laid down in our MOA & AOA.

Regarding Corporate Licence it is clearly mentioned in Page no 44 & 45 under

Dear lalit Ji and Other Council Members

I Take this opportunity to thank / congratulate  you and other council members for the recent developments.

I also congratulate you for your efforts on the ongoing campaign against unauthorized survey.

Dear Surveyor Friends and Colleagues ,

For other colleagues I may add that Please do not harp on what others have done for your or not done for you. Rather make all possible efforts to do what ever you can do for betterment of yourself as an individual surveyor and for the surveyor community. A step wise plan is being posted as under. We all can chose to work along the lines and see that we can better our future as an individual and as community.

1, Treat your colleagues as brothers and colleagues rather than adversaries.
2, Have local associations and conduct regular meetings of local surveyors.
3, Help chose a team of surveyors who can work at local level to solve the local problems
4, Chose teams of colleagues who can represent your interests at Chapter, Zone and National councils.
5, Chose a Good team at local level who can interact with insurers to bring your local problems to light.
6, If you find that existing team members are not upto your expectations and that you can do better than them please come forward and be part of such teams and show how you can deliver better results . Let the work speak more than the words
7, Try to understand the problems of your team members and give them time space and support to work.
8, Appreciate good work and ignore small mistakes which can be ignored without bringing the personal egos .
9, Discuss common issues among yourselves in local teams and try to find solutions for local problems at local levels. The local unity can help solve a number of small local problems.
10, For other issues and issues of national / regional  importance please Have faith in your representatives. If you have chosen a right person , then give him / her your support to work out a solution for the same.

I may point out that after the gazette notification of IRDA a Lot of our work shall be done by IIISLA which is our own body. So Please come forward and help build IIISLA into a strong institute. Even a small contribution from an individual can go a long way in strengthening the same.

It is high time when we should not harp on " What IIISLA did for us. It is time for us to do something for IIISLA and our own betterment.

Let us take one step at a time which shall lead to us to our destination. Standing on the sides and waiting leads us no where

Regards

Dear Mr. Sanjay Gupta,

Very nice suggestion from your end and I am pleased to inform you that, we are already working on suggested ways since years together and having healthy atmosphere here at Gandhidham and in and around Kutch region.

I would like to request all fellow brothers to implement  suggestions of Mr. Sanjay Gupta for betterment of our fraternity.

We believe in the famous saying " Let Us Start The Journey, We Will Reach to Destination Automatically" . We are organizing family gathering every-month with family members followed by dinner and sponsored by individual surveyor turn wise turn with condition to invite only family members of surveyors, no other friends at all.  This helps us in solving problems if any and harmony among-st fellow brothers.

Dear friends,
Suggestions given by Mr Sanjay Gupta are worth for surveyors community
and should be implemented. IIISLA present members trying hard to
convince the surveyors that finally they are working on right track.
But surveyors still doubt that this might be pressure of IRDA or
election ahead. It sometimes look like as political leaders work on
the last year when election is near and take the credit. But any way
if Members are thinking positive for community its good thing for all.
Hope they think in non political way for the benefit of community.
There are lot of changes coming in profession and normal surveyors
doubt that hopefully profession is going in positive way and Stick and
carrot theory of management is not behind all this. Surveyors demands
are not great but basic from IIISLA. And Surveyors want to work
ethically with respect in this profession. Hope present and coming
council members take care of it.

I am to advise you & all that there is a flash news that some CORPORATE SURVEYOR companies in association with PRIVATE INSURERS are approaching double bench of High Court to get your notification quashed as that has not been even notified by IRDA and also is not available nowhere other than on IIISLA website, and with more petitions contexts......

Kindly take this seriously and be ready for defence.

Dear Sri Wangoo & All,

It is very much surprising that in spite of clear cut information as
made available by Sri Wangoo, we have not been conveyed about any
thing further in the matter from IIISLA council members.

Do they want to maintain silence in the matter if so it would again be
very bad on the part of IIISLA leadership.

Further I would tell Mr. Lalit Gupta & all others council members are
you having any copies of your last election's MANIFESTO & PAMPLATES
ETC and would you please go through the same again, you would find the
clear cut assurances given in such a promising way as could be taken
as granted by the fraternity but have any out of such demands of
independent individual surveyors have been met out by you people. Like
past I would again remind you as under about these simple demands of
surveyors which could make them happy with many other odds too.

1.REASONABLE INCREASE IN SURVEY FEES AND ACCORDINGLY / TIMELY PAYMENTS
BY ALL THE INSURERS.

2.IN THIS FIELD THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF JOB AS SUCH REMOVAL OF
RESTRICTIONS TO WORK IN THREE DEPTS. ONLY. AT THE TIME OF IMPOSING OF
SUCH RESTRICTIONS NO RESISTANCE WAS MADE BY THE IIISLA AND THE SAME
GROUP OF YOURS WAS INVOLVED IN CONSENTING FOR SUCH ACT OF SURVEYOR'S
EXPLOITATION.

IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT TIME BY ME ALSO WHY NOT TO USE THE STRENGTH OF
NUMBERS OF SURVEYORS AND CALLING FOR AT LEAST ONE DAY INDICATORY
STRIKE ALL OVER THE COUNTRY AGAINST SUCH RESTRICTIONS ETC BUT NEVER
HEARED. BUT YOU PEOPLE WERE MORE EAGER TO TAKE DECISIONS ON BEHALF OF
THE FRATERNITY AND NEVER TO ACT FOR THE WELFARE WHICH CAN BE DEFINED
AS STABBING IN BACK OF YOUR OWN PROFESSIONAL BROTHERS.

LIKE PAST IN CASE OF SURVEYORS' PROFESSION IT WAS TO BE LEFT UP TO
INSURERS ONLY TO ASSIGN THE SURVEYORS FIT FOR THEIR JOBS BUT NOTHING
WAS DONE AND IN SPITE OF YOUR ASSURANCES BEFORE THE ELECTIONS, YOU
PEOPLE NEVER EVEN SUBMITTED ANY REPRESENTATIONS TO THE IRDA OR GOI.

3.IN SPITE OF ASSURANCES NOTHING WAS DONE IN REMOVAL OR CORRECTION IN
THE MATTER OF CATEGORISATION WHICH COULD ALSO BE REPRESENTED ON THE
AFORESAID BASIS.

4.YOU PEOPLE DID NOT DO ANY THING IN RESTRICTING THE IN HOUSE SURVEYS
FOR MOTOR LOSSES MORE THAN 20000/- BY PRIVATE INSURERS AND CORPORATE /
CONTRACTORS TYPE SURVEYORS ETC.

IN SPITE OF YOUR COMPLETE FAILURE IN RESPECT OF YOUR AFORESAID WELL
ASSURED COMMITMENTS NOW YOU ARE SUGGESTING SURVEYORS VERY SHAMELESSLY
TO GO TO FIND OUT SUCH NON TECHNICAL INHOUSE ASSESSORS WORKING FOR ANY
AFORESAID PARTIES IN WORKSHOPS WITH FOLDED HANDS AND REQUEST THEM TO
GET SNAPPED WITH ALLEGED VEHICLES BEING SURVEYED BY THEM AND SEND THE
INFORMATION TO IRDA, REALLY VERY FUNNY. LATER ON YOU WOULD AGAIN ASK
THE SURVEYORS TO MAKE THE INFORMATION COMPLETE I.E. BY ALSO MENTIONING
THE NAMES OF INSURERS / INSURED / WORKSHOP, POLICY & CLAIM NOS., VEH.
NOS. ETC. THE COPIES OF ESTIMATES ETC MAY ALSO BE DEMANDED THERE.

STILL I HAVE NOT TALKED ABOUT THE MISMANAGEMENT OF FUNDS ETC.

PLEASE DO NOT WORRY THE NEXT ELECTIONS ARE AHEAD AND THIS TIME NO
DISCOUNT SALE MEMBERSHIPS WOULD BE ABLE TO HELP YOU OUT BUT QUITE BIG
NUMBERS OF VOTORS WOULD DEAL WITH YOU PEOPLE.

PLEASE DO NOT THINK THAT BY CRITICISING & OFFENCING ONE PERSON ONLY OF
YOUR CITY YOU WOULD BECOME STRONG BUT I WOULD SUGGEST YOU THAT PLEASE
DO NOT CONSIDER THE REST OF FRATERNITY ANY WEAK.

I REQUEST ALL THE MEMBERS OF IIISLA TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THE
ABOVE BEFORE CASTING YOUR VALUABLE VOTES IN FORTHCOMING ELECTIONS TO
FORM AN EFFICIENT & BOLD IIISLA WHICH WOULD BE ABLE TO WORK FOR THE
FRATERNITY OF INDEPENDENT INDIVIDUAL SURVEYORS.

I WOULD ALSO REQUEST ALL THE WELL WISHERS OF OUR FRATERNITY FOR WAKING
UP THE SURVEYORS THROUGH THIS BUITIFUL & SUCCESSFUL BOARD AND OUT SIDE
IT TOO.

Regards

Dear Sir,

This has reference to our earlier mail where in the sentiments of surveyors of Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula were conveyed to you along with request to form a Chapter comprising of members from Chandigarh Mohali and Panchkula

The contents of our earlier mail are reproduced as under.

We the surveyors from Chandigarh,  Mohali and Panchkula request your good self to consider forming a Chapter of IIISLA compsising of all Member Surveyors belong to Tricity of Chandigarh Mohali and Panchkula.

There are more than 90 members of IIISLA who reside and work in the tricity and work jointly in all offices of Insurance companies located in these three cities.

We have been feeling requirement of a separate chapter for the Tricity because of following reasons.

1, All surveyors of Tricity are working in the offices of insurance companies located in tricity with no distinction.
2, Chandigarh has 5 Regional offices of Public Sector Insurance companies and Regional offices of almost all Private Sector Insurance companies.
3, We find it difficult to communicate with the Authroties in insurance companies as a single unit because for even the local problems we have to call the Chapter executives from Punjab / Haryana.
4, The Surveyors of Tricity share common platform and have common day to day problems which can be solved at local level if there is a local chapter.
5, The Problems faced by members of Tricity are entirely different than problems faced by Punjab or Haryana Surveyors.
6, Surveyors of Tricity are more  competent to take up local matters with the authroties on day to day basis.
7, With more than Ninety members already enrolled as members of IIISLA the local Chapter can extend better services to the members and also ensure better compliance of instructions issued by the central council

In view of the above we strongly feel the requirement of a local chapter for tricity and request the Central council to allow us to form a local Chapter.comprising all members of Tricity  .

We have formed an ad-hoc committee comprising of 7 persons to facilitate the intial functioning of the chapter.

  1. Sanjay Gupta
  2. P. K. Bansal
  3. Pukhraj Singh
  4. Gopal Krishan
  5. Inder pal Singh
  6. Harish Gupta
  7. Shiv Shakti Sharma
  8. Ranjiv Doughal

You are once again requested to kindly confirm the permission of the central council  and oblige

We thank you on behalf of all members of tricity  in anticipation

Sh. Sanjay Ji.
I am not against the formation of CHD chapter. But In the
manner you had formed the ad hock committee is not acceptable.
As you has step down from all the activities .So it seem that member of your kiity party has been taken. So pl
call the meeting of the all the member than to take the decision.

I welcome the move.
But i could not understand the Para  5 which says
The Problems faced by members of Tricity are entirely different than problems faced by Punjab or Haryana Surveyors.
It is added that Ludhiana has more than 100 Surveyors and two ROs besides ROs of all pvt Cos. It has much more premium figures and Ins offices than that of Chandigarh.  It is  the commercial capital of the region and biggest city of its own (not a city of three). Ludhiana Surveyors should also raise demand for Ludhiana Chapter. Their case is more strong than Chd.

Dear Sir
we are in a democracy. it is not the way the committee are forced formed. i have been discussing & urging Mr. PK Bansal, Mr Kailash chander and some other senior surveyors to have a meeting of all the surveyors of Tricity and discuss & elect and form Tricity chapter. i had even offered a independent free site for such discussions and election and Respected PK BANSAL ji & Kailash Chander ji had even tentatively had agreed with my suggestions. I do not KNOW how respected PK Bansal has jumped on this band wagon. We all are respected surveyors not gamblers. and do not believe kitty dancing and gambling.
With all respects & humiliation, i shall request all the Surveyors of Tricity to elect and form a Grand Tricity chapter of surveyors.

Dear All

Mr Sanjay Gupta's mail has suddenly brought a storm in the cup and I have seen many mails on the issue. I was going through the contents of Mr Sanjay Gupta and one of the most important reason that he has stated for forming such a chapter, is the surveyors of Tricity have common problems and are competent to handle their own problems. Mr Sanjay has even formed a committee for the same and many other surveyors have dissented with it.

For all the participants, I want to bring few facts as below-

1. The article of Association (AOA) of IIISLA says that in organisation set up there shall be one chapter in every state. Thus before any such step of forming a chapter is made, AOA amendment must be made in AOA.

I would remind my friends that one mistake was made by IIISLA council in past when an NCR chapter was formed with three districts of Faridabad, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad. But this was clearly a political decision of Old D coterie as HARYANA was deadly against them and no chapter was formed by Haryana. Thus to give a privilidge to some persons, this NCR chapter was formed of which Mr Indersain Kumar, a close associate and business partner of Mr Lalit Gupta was made the president. Council later tried to bring some amendement in AOA and they could never been implemented.

Thus forming a chapter had been with a politic behind and to divide the fraternity. Tricity proposal must amply make clear that the move is not political and shall not divide the fraternity.

2.   Second very important point that must be kept in mind that IIISLA AOA against clearly state that IIISLA is not have any trade Union like activities and shall be treated strictly for educational purpose. If Mr Sanjay Gupta and his other committee members want to take up some problem with the insurers at local basis, the ideal shall be to form an Association of Tricity and take up local issues through this platform rather than involving the name of IIISLA in it.

The chapters and zones so far in IIISLA have done nothing but collect money from public and spend for office bearers. There are no rules for zones, chapters and units, HO has no records of the same. Recently Mr Vohra issue a notice on website, for zones and chapters to give information. But there is no further facts known due to non transparency in IIISLA Administration.

I am sorry, but the fact is that zones and chapter have done nothing except collecting the money in the name of seminars and spending the same for limited organisers. The worst is that their accounts are not even audited. There may be some exception in it like Chandigarh Seminar.

I wish Mr Sanjay Gupta must hold on issue and ensure the idea is not mooted by some ones with political motives and Mr Sanjay Gupta's name is being used. Mr Sanjay is a surveyor of repute.
