Dear Brothers
Is there any circular from IIISLA or IRDA that permits a non-surveyor (i.e., a person without a surveyor license) to conduct surveys? It has been observed that a company appointed a non-licensed individual to perform the duties of a surveyor. What are the possible consequences of such an action?

Greetings of the day !!
Appointing a person as Surveyor who does not possess a valid IRDAI Surveyor License is ILLEGAL.
The company who appoints such persons and the person who is executing such surveys, both are crossing
their limits and if exposed it attracts severe penal action. We, the Licensed Surveyor being the affected party
to such illegal appointments should take strong action, for this our Elected Management should think and act
immediately.
The very act of such corrupt practices is best captured in a Tamil Movie titled "Ramana" which has been remade in
Telugu as " Tagore" which exposed large scale corruption in the pvt. hospital. The pvt. hospital is giving treatment
for a dead body brought from the Govt. Hospital with a Death Certificate and hospital raising the bill for several lakhs
for treatment and asking the relatives to pay the amount and lift the body to home.
This is happening all over now and then. Now the need of the hour is IIISLA has to set up a 'VIGILANT SQUAD" to
deal with such type of illegal appointment of surveyors. In this way, we can resolve this issue.
After winning the Election, there is no voice from the present CC Members. Responsibility is taken by the new
CC Team and they have to deliver the results without further delay. We are supposed to implement the Allocation
of Survey Jobs on Rotation Basis in the last year itself as per the IRDAI Master Circular. Now we are in the
Month of May 2025, is it a herculean task to implement it?
We have collectively given a befitting reply and said clear "No" to Mr. Ashok Kumar who looted Rs. 2 crores of IIISLA
money and to Mr. Lalit Gupta who kept 700+ applications pending with him at one point of time when he was the
IIISLA President. Again Mr. Lalit Gupta wants to destroy our profession by contesting the election shamelessly, for
which we taught him a lesson.
