Dear Sir,  In Indore also, we are also facing same problem. One surveyor got 60 claims in one month, few 15 claims,etc but A Grade surveyors got No Survey. One officer told to become asst of Junior surveyor s to survive. Pls look into the matter and do the needful.

             After going through all the mails that i have received read it and i have also not received a single claim from Mumbai R.o. office , so i called the Claim officer and informed about the Automation that i have not received a single claim so the reply given by the officer is that we are receiveing more claims below One Lakhs ( Rs 1,00,000/- ) and that all are the allotted to Licenciate surveyor so i said place us also in that catergory so that we can get claims , the officer told that it is not in our hands

Before implementing new claim distribution system, Insurers must have circulated their clear criteria of job appontment through portal the basis of limits for Licenciate,  Associate and Fellow members.

I think, there may be pick and choose from Surveyors  while  empaneling in Portal and that may be reason of  mis distribution of Survey Job to all Surveyors.

Need of time is to look into the matter seriously for proper distribution of job to all.

Dear all,

It's a problem and other one problem is also existing with it. In a city or in an area where 200 no.s of surveyors are active in other PSUs, but how the OICL empanelled only 50 in functioning Motor panel, where the 200 no.s already technically and commercially registered & panelled in their register. Their explanation is : 2% of total no.s of claims in a year would be counted only to empanel as active surveyor for them, others are dead in their activity. Why this problem in OICL only. May be their internal management. But other PSUs are also managing themselves well just beside OICL in same market with competition and economic position.

We need work for all and in a manner of well distribution. Some unable or over burdened person will get jobs continuously even in lack of knowledge for specific subject. And other surveyors are persecuted mentally with economically with having no active enrollment and hence no job from OICL.

The gainer surveyors are brazenfaced and already in profit from OICL. If the internal rule is stationed with its fixity, then the surveyors who are continued their practice in OICL should take rest for a time. Other disappointed surveyors till date, who are at far from the active panel, waiting, should be inducted immediately and obviously with proper distribution.

Since last few months Ex. CC Mr. Naishad Desai is Indulged in some false propaganda against IIISLA on social media whatsapp platform and spreading rumours about functioning of IIISLA management and bringing bad name to IIISLA.

On 08/09/2021 @ 12:41 PM Mr. Naishad Desai, Ex CC IIISLA had flashed the following message on whatsapp......

"Dear maharastra surveyors,

Since few days , few supporters of Mr. Rahul Jadhav including  Mr. jagga and Mr. KB manchanda are trying to project that the payment issued to Mr. Anne a advocate we used in petition filed in aurangabad and handled by maharastra surveyor is illegal and i also obtained som kick back / commission on payment illegally paid to advocate Mr. Anne.

fact file is the payment was done to lawyer on request of maharastra surveyor to the lawyer name and details provided by them. the reason for such payment is to help our members who were fighting against deadly regulation 2015.

for the knowledge the entire case was handled by Mr. Rahul jadhav, Mr. Nalluri, Mr. Nitin kalshe and few others including the selectionof high paid lawyer , even fees were fixed by the team of maharastra surveyor.

role of iiisla is only restricted to the payment to lawyer on request of maharastra surveyor.. the sole purpose is to help our members, no personal interest and no personal gain. As a board of director , we four people have signed the cheque and handed over to the team who was dealing with the case.

I have never met this lawyer never had  even talked with him

But now after few years, few as named above and unfortunately belong to maharastra has started to put allegation of illegal payment and obtained commission from lawyer Mr. anne

Now. after all such allegation of Mr. jagga and Mr. KB manchanda who belongs to strong team, which are purely poilitical but attmpt to spoil my image. cant be tolerable , such allegation are highly objectionable and not acceptable....

for me, this is insult of mine as well as surveyors of maharastra who requested this to iisla , hence,  to come out of the issue , I have decided to pay back entire amout which was declared illegal by few members of strong team back to iiisla.

As i feel that the payment made to lawyer is to help maharastra surveyor and so, now few of strong team if believes that it was illegal payment then its our duty to pay the amount back to iiisla, i have two option for that

01. i will approach Mr. Anne, inform them and get payment back to iiisla
02. i along with maharastra surveyors collect the amount from each of maharastra surveyors on contributory basis and pay back to iiisla

please suggest which option should we opt i will follow your decision , but please send your responce positively to me so, i can act , failing to which i will go with the option 01.

From Above message, the following points are clear that...

1. When payment to Lawyer of opposite parties were made the Board of Directors was in minority, Only 4 members were active and decided to make the payment of 30 Lakhs.

2. The payment was made to the advocate of opponent parties who made the IIISLA in Aurangabad case as their opponent, it is nowhere heard that an section 8 organization subject to audit is making payment to advocate who is appearing against the organisation i.e. IIISLA

3. According to his message, he never met the advocate before making the payment indicates that he had not verified any facts before making the payment.

4. Till date he had not brought any communication on record of IIISLA where the Maharashtra chapter requested for the payment of the advocate.

5. He was treasurer at the time of making the said payment but never did any study of the referred case and blindly made the exorbitant payment without knowing the prevailing fees of the advocate during that period.

6. After some members objected to this payment, Now he realised that he made a gross mistake by making this payment and accepted his mistake, he came out with two formulas for recovery of the said amount

     

      Option 1 Proposed by him- He will go to the advocate and ask for a refund of that Money.

      Option 2 proposed by him = He along with some surveyors of Maharashtra will collect contribution from all surveyors of Maharashtra and pay back the IIISLA money

Now the question arises..... 

1. Whether he is authorised to collect money from Maharashtra surveyors and had permission from IIISLA to do so

2. Money collected would be on which head and in which account

3. How money will be remitted to IIISLA

HOW THIS MATTER WAS SURFACED : 

During the CC election campaigning of 2019 election Mr. Naishad Desai and his mentor with other contestants of their panel called a meeting at Ghodbunder road , Thane. While delivering the speech the Mentor of their panel alleged that Mr. Rahul Jadhav and Other surveyors of Maharashtra had wasted the money of Rs. 40 Lakhs on Aurangabad case.

Then I raised a question to Mr. Naishad Desai,  then treasurer of IIISLA If that money was not warranted then as a treasurer of IIISLA why you had not objected to it and why the money was released ?

Answering to my question, Mr. Naishad desai, the then treasurer replied that he had signed one cheque of 10 lakhs and agreed that a mistake was committed for which he openly apologised before the house.

After his acceptance and apology, I grew suspicious of misappropriation of funds by the then treasurer and started enquiring into the matter and the subject matter surfaced.

During study of the facts, it was also surfaced that while releasing the money he misled the other three directors and got their signature on the other cheques.

If he accepted his mistake and proposed returning the money to IIISLA then why not the said money be recovered from him.

I request the present IIISLA management to initiate proceedings against Mr. Naishad Desai to recover the money and take necessary action against those who are guilty of misappropriation of IIISLA funds during their tenure as CC.

In New India it is upto 50K and that too for two wheelers and private cars and here the system is working perfectly. The automation system is no doubt good for all of us but our concern is all empanelled surveyors should get jobs in proper rotation. In future all PSU will be deputing surveyors through their automation system and therefore our demand should all IIISLA members should be empanelled and IIISLA CC should work in this line and talk to the respective HO.There will be resistance from them citing SMP guidelines  but we can do it if we push it vigorously.   

We all are getting less number of jobs due to this pandemic and in the coming days it will be fewer as the four PSU on which we depend are underwriting less premiums. On the other hand the private insurers are doing good business and almost all automobile dealer tie ups are with them. In respect of claims we all know that the majority of the claims of private insurers are being handled by their own employees violating insurance laws. We have been protesting against this unethical practice but we have not achieved any success. Now to tap jobs from the private insurers we must act collectively and for this IIISLA CC should come forward and approach all CEOs of private insurers and discuss the matter one to one so that they will start using independent surveyors.

Don't cover up your mistakes taking shelter of MISA, if you have any request from MISA for the said fund, come out with the records.

However organisations are run with some set of Laws and rules and not on emotions and sentiments of some.

If you are stating that your stand was correct, then why ask for recovery through members.

Members can not be fooled further, you are the only mastermind of all waste of money of hard earned money of IIISLA members and only you are responsible for the same.
