Depreciation on paint - Plastic / Metal

Dear Friends,

Since inception / introduction of Depreciation on paint there are many
questions as to applicability of the proviso. One such question is:

A) Depreciation applicable is at par with all other items (metallic).
B) Depreciation applicable is at par with non-metallic (Plastic) on
non metallic items say Bumper & at par with metallic say metallic
bonnet.
