Dear Sir,

As per IMT 47-
"Under section I of this policy in respect of loss or damage resulting from overturning arising out of the operation as a tool of such vehicle or of plant forming part of such vehicle or attached thereto except for loss or damage arising directly from fire, explosion, self ignition or lightning or burglary housebreaking or theft."

Please confirm, when a transit mixer carrying 'concrete' got overturned on the way. Whether or not iMT 47 apply?

Thanks,

Dear AKS,
Any accident During transit is covered under normal policy.
It is applicable when it was used as a tool of trade.
Normal overturning is covered automatically under accident external means.
If it was occurred ie. While unloading material / loading, than claim is admissible if IMT 47 is added in the policy.
