If the result of reivew is not displayed by IRDA within a week we must
not fear from knocking the doors of highest judiciary of our country.
We all have earnt enough in our career, made houses, amassed wealth,
educated our children, did some social welfare activities,,,learnt new
ways of leading life, earnt a good social status, and also screwed up
some worthy claims,,,due to our ignorance or purposeful EGOistic
reflections in our reporting and hadling of claims,,,,all this can
become history,,,and we can sow the seeds of a NEXT GEN SURVEYORS's
TEAM - provided we ACT TODAY.

I also dont appreciate this act of yours. I have never written to you

Insurance-surveyors.com to communicate to IRDA on my behalf.
While I appreciate that you have been coming out with several ideas
and are preparing and circulating various long articles on surveyors
problems/building institution/republic leaders and what not. You have
even written to Prime Minister/Finance Minister and Newspaper editors
long emails. But unable to understand the reason of sending these
articles un-solicited to the groups and other friends of whom you
have
email IDs? You may just post these articles on your website
insurance-surveyors.com so that whoever wants to take benefit of it
can visit the website and read it.
The mail boxes get cluttered due to such un-solicited mails and it
amounts to spamming.
Let us all make the groups and emailing as a media of effective
communication rather then making it noisy in which the real issues
get subsided and attention is disttracted.
Hope you take the things in positive spirit and resist your urge of
high frequency mailing.

I failed to understand that why our respected colleague have raised objection to a very sincere effort were taken by Mr. Shailesh.
Infact, We should have appreciated him for his whole hearted effort along with the moderator Mr. Sainani for bringing 106 nos. members to vote against categorization and in-house-survey system which is very serious at this very moment.

surprising,
if not irritating, that Mr. Sanjay Shaw pops into the discussion
supporting the objectionable actions of Mr. Shailesh Shah, even while
several members are expressing their displeasure categorically at the

IRDA has invited opinions from all the intested parties on the issues
pertaining to upgradation of categorisation and every one has the
right to expression, but his own, or with the approved consent of
others. Using the names of others without their approval or consent,
or duplicating the names to inflate the figures, cannot be and should
not be tolerated.

Dear All,
No harsh decisions please.
I am sure it was at the worst, an unwarranted / unacceptable enthusiasm.
In a scenario, where the IIISLA secretary does not even inform us about the exchanges by / between IIISLA and IRDA and we have only unconfirmed reports that they have submitted 'OUR' collective opinion to IRDA, let us not hang anyone.
Having said that, let Mr.Shailesh Shah / Mr.Sanjay be requested to express their apologies for their unintended act of rashness (most of us deal with 279 daily).
Finally, by a copy of this mail, IIISLA is informed / requested to formally notify the minutes of their meetings and the communications sent to IRDA. This will cost them 6 rs including postage for sending every member totalling to Rs.25,000 per month. A single EC meeting is reportedly costing Rs.2,00,000 or more and if they do not accede to a request for transparency anymore, we may be forced to escalate this matter in an adjudicating forum of competent jurisdiction.
What are we complaining about IRDA, Insurance companies, when even OUR OWN IIISLA is behaving arrogantly.
The question now begging to be answered is "Is IIISLA OUR OWN. or some one's personal turf."
In the interests of common courtesy, many of us have kept quite but this has been read as our weakness

- In-House-Surveyor :- Can disturbed me every angle but I am ready and alert and not going to leave the platform of honesty / dignity / integrity of surveyor.

as an issue for one's credit or debit to settle past scores
- be generous in respecting the values than age, when it counts on
retaining the principles and founding values of our profession
- be ready to tune ourselves with the need of hour - take all
requisite measures to enhance our productivity, quality of reporting,
method of effective communication( key to success in today's highly
competitive scenario-it is man eats man position when there are 10 ccs
of our email communications going to peole from insurance companies,
brokers, agents, claimants and what not!!!)
And the first and foremost important fact, ready to adapt and change
ourselves to stay tuned with the Changes which are taking at
supersonidc speed, faster than ever in our profession.

How many of these names from Rajkot and Pune appear in your original
list of 106 surveyors? How many of these 106 surveyors have given you
their consent or approval so that you could send it to IRDA with their
names...? Most of us have sent our opinions to IRDA directly. They
may or may not be necessarily in line with yours.
If you will go thro your original list, you will find several names
repeated more than once. Is it not deliberate? No one is
questionning your stand against categorisation. You are entitled to
your opinion and can make your own demand list. But how can you use
the name of some others who have not given you their consent? How did
my name figure in your list? Why force your opinion on others when
they have their own individual opinions? You have seen the reaction
of others. Would you still like to justify your actions as correct?

detail that you want. Time is running out, and help us add some more
names to the list. What did contestants do in elections of IIISLA and
wasn't all of you supporting the withdrawal of CATEGORIZATION always,

much, but one thing is for sure that none of the members mails are
moderated untill now & I, in any case was party to the list of 108
Surveyors or had consented on this issue.
A lot is expressed by many members (out of sheer agony of misuse of
their name), I normally try to intervene less (or least as Moderator)
so that flow of information remains smooth / unobstructed assuming
that all the members would behave responsibly on the Group (mails
recognising that this Medium is different from passing casual remarks
verbally). It appears that some (a few only) are not recognsing this
fact forcing to moderate their Mails henceforth.

Dear Shailesh
There are pros & cons of everything which is happening around us all the time; we have to keep in mind that life is Dynamic & not a static concept.
Joining hands is synergy & working stand alone has got its merits too. To me synergy is always better, the reason is we may be individual centers of excellence but the knowledge & expertise gathered gets buried with our end of life & thus never gets institutionalized.
This is one reason because of which Europeans & Americans, several developed countries are different from us, our elders (*Sone ki Chiriya wale*) left this world without sharing enormous wealth of knowledge without sharing with others or institutionalizing the wealth of knowledge.
Many may not agree with my viewpoint & many may, I healthy discussion on issue is welcome.
