Problem with ECU in TATA Indica V2 LS cars reg - Just for information of the members

Dear All,   Recently, I have purchased a new TATA Indica V2 LS.  Within two days, I could not start the engine.  When I called the dealer, they advised to make a complaint through toll free number.  They were kind enough to register my complaint.  So many peoples from various ends of TATA motors called me and enquired about the problem.  They sent mechanic from Sivakasi and they confirmed failure of ECU.   Till this time, they could not replace the ECU due to non-availability of the ECU with the dealers.  From my market enquiries, it was noticed that the ECU failed in most of the BS III model cars of TATA whereas they are supplying the cars with failure lot ECU till date.   My car was not yet repaired and kept at the shed for the past nine days.   Members and friends who wants to purchase new TATA BS III cars may note this aspect before effect of purchase.   ASAR
