21st March, 2011. 2:46 pm. Our Time will come :):)
Can u think of a better start to the day, you have just stepped in office campus and a beautiful girl staring at you. but as they say" jab tum dil se kisi ki bajana chaho to poori kaynat uski bajaane me tumhara sath deti hai:.. and with all the help from that Kaynat, who is better than your best buddies making fun of you.
"She wasn't looking at you...she is committed"
"How do you know.. is she in your project or what??"... i was just wondering how my friends are so sure about her being committed.
" You won’t understand...for knowing all this you need to be in a relation" other friend reminded me of my so called handicap..smiling and looking at her boyfriend.
I was just speechless.. feeling embarrassed more than the day when i got my first reappear in college. At least there were some more ppl like me....and the same friend who are now laughing at me were sympathizesing with me.
friendly sentence " you will get pass in revaluation" has been replaced by the taunts like "tera kuchh nahi ho sakta" .
Shaking my head in disgust, I sneaked into my cubicle. I can forget it if it was just a one off incident. We ( singles) are really getting harassed by these couples. Someone from us has to stand out and fight for our rights. I have heard stories of oldie goldy days, when we were in majority. But those days are gone and we are here in this cruel world where being single is a crime. You can be single because of your 'NEVER-SAY-YES MAM' attitude or it can be a personal choice but I don’t understand why do ppl relate it to your persona or your capability as a person.
We celebrate so many days like chocolate day , rose day, valentine day and what not. Don’t you think it’s big time to give some attention to our community. Can’t we celebrate a single " Happy-To-Be-Single" day.
When someone is caring her girlfriend like a child, its becomes mandatory to praise him. It is consider as an un-mannered behavior if you don’t recognize his efforts. Why are we obliged to be thankful to them for what they do for each other.
our people seriously need to re-evaluate their social status. Any Tom-Dick-Harry comes up and advise us how to behave in front of a girl.
"Your are still a child, a relation makes someone mature" is a fatherly advice your friends gives you forgetting numerous incidents when these Proclaimed-Mature people surged tears in front of you after getting ignored and rejected by their loved ones.
Now the time has come for we singles to get mingle and raise our voice against this social injustice. I believe time will come when people will recognize us for our dignity and these slaves will envy to us for our freedom and care free attitude.
I appeal all of you to come and join me in our campaign for saving our extincting rare breed.
Current mood:
hopeful.
Current music: akela hun yarron...na ghar hai na thikana...:):):).
