BDB Journey started at Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai from 2010, now with over 4,000 members engaged in import and export, manufacturing and marketing of rough and polished diamonds, BDB has created a business framework to conduct their transactions in maximum convenience and security.

IT Job Specification

• Operating & Monitoring Security System (Surveillance, CCTV, Access Control)
• Operating & Monitoring the BMS (Building Management System)
• Operating & Monitoring the Fire Alarm System
• Operating the Wi-fi System, Command Control, Tele Communication System, Wireless System
• Operating the Network Administration (Networking, LAN, etc)
• Operating & Monitoring the ERP System

A person if selected for this position should have sound knowledge of the recent technical monitoring & operating of various IT related setup

Role & Responsibilities:
The candidate will be expected to:

• Responsible for developing, in conjunction with the HOD, a definition of the project.
• Ensure that the project is delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications).
• Ensure the project is effectively resourced and manage relationships with a wide range of groups (including all project contributors).

Typical work done / projects undertaken:

• The candidate should have had experience in the following activities:
• Managing and leading the project team.
• Creating detail project planning and control including: developing and maintaining a detailed project plan, managing project deliverables in line with the project plan.
• Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary.
• Resolving cross-functional issues at project level.
• Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary.
• Monitoring project progress and performance.
• Providing status reports to the HOD and to be in liaison with, and update progress to steering board/senior management
• Managing project training within the defined budget.
• Managing project evaluation and dissemination activities.
• Managing consultancy input within the defined budget.
• Working closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs.
• Identifying user training needs and devising and managing user training programs.

Specific Domain / Technical / Functional skills:

• Hands on experience in project management
• Hands on knowledge of project management tools
• PMP certification
