unable to establish a channel to test out Verboice .... Tried Skype, callcentric, twilio

Hello,
I've set up a simple project (in the free-to-use instance) to test out Verboice, but have not been able to establish a channel.

I've carefully followed the tutorials to set up the different channel options (callcentric, twilio, Skype connect, but Verboice doesn't seem to link to any of them. The channel label does not show up green, and test calls don't work.

I would really appreciate some advice.

Hello Keith,

For the alternative option to deliver call to Cambodia target mobile subscriber, I would recommend to go with Skype Connect, please visit Verboice wiki on how to connect with Verboice, you can use Callcentric, Nexmo or Twilio either, please visit Verboice channel wiki on how to connect with Verboice.

Thanks, I actually set up a Skype connect account yesterday, and added some credit, and followed the wiki exactly, but it doesn't work.
The created channel does not indicate a green label.
(I have the same experience with Callcentric, Nexmo or Twilio)

My Skype Connect SIP profile looks ok.... except I saw this note: at the bottom of my Skype profile page : "SIP user is not yet registered at sip.skype.com". 

Any ideas about the problem?  firewall?
