I think Wise is way ahead of InstallShield when it comes to new features. I
use both.

In ISWI you have what you call a "Power Editor" but this only allows access
to a subset of tables. I thought you might change this in the 2.0 release
but when I downloaded the eval, no change. A *lot* of people want this and
this is the biggest reason my company will be moving to Wise instead, though
you still have a chance. We already have a license for InstallShield when we
used to use your proprietary installation mechanism but we've since moved to
Windows Installer and need this functionality. While the rest of your
product seems pretty good, any authoring package can't do everything for you
so this access to *all* tables is nice.

Please consider this in future patches / releases.
