Driver Installation Issue

Hi,
I have a strange problem.
I'm trying to install driver for my graphics card. I'm doing it with
following steps.
- Update driver
- Browse my computer for driver software.
- Search for driver software in this location.

This shows me error that "The best driver software for your device is
already installed.".

Whereas when I try to install it using following steps then it
installs it successfully.
- Update driver
- Browse my computer for driver software
- Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer" and click
on Have Disk and point to driver.

Even when I directly execute setup.exe of display driver then also it
works fine.

Can anybody tell me whether this is an issue with Windows OS itself?
What is the cause that it shows "The best driver software for your
device is already installed." ?
