Fonts missing when using the upgrade table

Hi,

I get a strange problem with fonts when I use the upgrade table to remove
older versions of our product.

The older versions of our product get uninstalled as expected. I had to put
'RemoveExistingProducts'
between 'InstallValidate' and 'InstallInitialize' (because the the msi
package of the older versions where
authored by hand, I would otherwise loose some files).

When my setup runs without removing older versions (i. e. no older versions
are present), everything works
fine. When it removes older versions, everything is fine except that my
fonts are not available.

I'm rather lost with this, because the 'RegisterFonts' action is left at the
'standard' location as generated by
ISWI 1. 52

My fonts are part of a MergeModule as we are using them in many
applications.

This post is SO old -- you probably don't remember making it. Did you ever find a solution to this issue? I am having the exact same problem.
