Help needed : Custom Action and Property related

our product has got two installer(Server/Client) which on installation
write one registry entry, SetupType="Server" or SetupType="Client"
accordingly.

I want to put Feature/Compoment/CustomAction condition on another
installer according to this regsitry entry.
Is it possible to create any such global varibale or property which i
can set according to this registry entry in the function
OnFirstUIBefore and this varibale/property will be used in the above
mentioned conditions accordingly during runtime.
