Hello gurus,

Our installer launches another installer with DoInstall() and at the end of
this 2nd installer we ask the user to optionally reboot the PC. (Win2000 or
WinNT). If the user selects Yes to reboot now, InstallShield tries to
reboot, but fails. It seems like the first launch if IS is preventing the
reboot, probably due to it is still sitting in the DoInstall function call.
Anyone know how to get around this?

Thanks for any help.

Make some key in registry in first installer and set it to False. Then in
the second installer set it to True if user selects to reboot now, and after
it returns to first installer, check this key and make reboot if need.
