Installing in MS Visio 2002

I am presently making an Add_on installation to Visio 2002.
For that I need to detect which version of Visio I have. After looking in
the registry for some clue, I could not find consistent keys that I could
use. some of those keys are (sometime) leftovers from previous install so I
cannot depend on them.

We are also creating a visio addin and this is the key I am using
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Visio]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Visio\Installer]
"Visio10InstallLocation"="C:\\Visio"
so far I have had no problems using this entry.
