Help please. I am trying to create a custom dialog window to get rid
of all the standard windows provided, but am having trouble with the
custom buttons. I would like these buttons to be bitmaps, and I follow
the InstallShield tutorial perfectly. I name the image resource ID the
same as the button ID, copy the resource.h #includes, insert the dll
into the InstallShield setup files. What happens is the custom dialog
displays perfectly (with the background static bitmap), but the
buttons are just grey standard buttons still. Please help on this.

Secondly, I would like the buttons to have custom states for HOVER and
PRESSED, but don't know where to begin. I am thinking that if I can
figure this out, I can also do the standard state the same way. I have
read a few posts on this, but unfortunately nothing has worked. I
think what would be most helpful, if anyone is willing to do it, is to
send me an actual project where you have this working. Please email me
with advice and help at:

Look at the SdOptionsButtons dialog - it has bitmap buttons. If you
need help I can look at the RUL code for this dialog in my IS 5.5
installation.
If you want I may be able to help further - I'm unemployed and bored.

I also recommend registering with http://community.installshield.com
and posting your question there. This newsgroup is essentially dead -
look how inactive it is.
