I have a test-application that calls a self made dll.
This dll then create a word-, acces- or outlook object.
Both the app and the dll are developed on a win95 machine with VB 5.0
Enterprise edition. Everything works fine on the developer machine.
References for the app:
- VB for Applications
- VB runtime objects and procedures
- VB objects and procedures
- OLE Automation
- Mydll
References for the dll:
- VB for Applications
- VB runtime objects and procedures
- VB objects and procedures
- OLE Automation
- MS DAO 2.5/3.5 compatibility library
When I create a setup program (with Install Shield 5.5) and start my app I
get the following error:
Active X can't create object
I installed the application on a Win98 machine with Office2000 installed.
This machine has DAO36 installed.
I supply both dao350.dll and dao2535.tlb and install them in the correct
directory (...\common files\microsoft shared\dao)
Please, what can be wrong?
Urgent please, deadline is coming up!
Thanks.
