I have this one customer that can not install our product on his machine.
He is running NT 4.0 (not sure about service pack). Our software is for NT
only.

The install was generated by the project wizard. Everytime he runs it, it
fails on the 'DeinstallStart' function call located in the
ProcessBeforeDataMove function. I have done the usual steps with him:

- close down all other programs (anti-virus, e-mail, etc.)
- logon as Administrator
- he is capable of installing other programs successfully
- does not already have the software installed (irrelevant as our software
overinstalls onto itself)

This is a wierd problem, as we have hundreds of other customers who have not
encountered this problem.

Are there any known scenarios out there that can cause the DeinstallStart
function to be unsuccessful? The only one I know of from looking at the
help and IS support site is if InstallationInfo was not called first, which
it was. Any help would be appreciated.

BTW (to state the obvious),

The install was written and build using 5.53.
