Every Time I go to build my media, I must re-enter the TAG file info,
because it's picking up some really old info from somewhere that is no
longer accurate. I have since changed the company name, product name and
version number. I changed all of these in the string table, as well as in
my script, but it still picks up the old values in the tag file.

Also, when I run my setup, the very first little window... "<product name>
is configuring Installshield to run .... blah blah" seems to be picking up
an old product name. I looked everywhere for where it's doing this (Even
the registry), but no luck.

Any help?

Oh, I'm using Installshield Pro 5.1 Build 147

Hi,
Media build wizard automatically places tag file on the disk images.
There are two KB articles Q103210,& Q101364 are available that explain how
to set the Tag file information, at InstallShield support site

Thanks,

I was able to set the TAG defaults, However, the other part of the
question...

How do I change the name displayed in the little popup box right before
installshield starts:

i.e. the "<Blank Setup> Setup is preparing Installshield for
installation..." box

Where I'd like to change the <Blank Setup> to the actual name of my project.
It was originally blank setup, but I since renamed the *.ipr file.

Thanks,

Arlin

Even after deleting all of my media, creating new media, going into
advanced/setup, changing the application name, it frequenctly doesn't work
for me, and I have to edit the setup.ini in the \setup
files\uncompressed\disk 1 folder. Then when I rebuild, it will have the
correct name.
