I have a 5.0.0 installation. I changed some of the script and compiled.
The new compile did not change the modify date on the setup.ins file in the
folder under ...Media/New Media/Disk1. The installation went out and
apparently did not contain the changes. I notice under properties that the
file has a create date of 10/20/98 and a modify date of 6/22/98....MS
Explorer lists the modify date; which in this case is strange. I am not
clear as to the status of the file. Have I changed the installation or not?
It is an install drive settings change and I can't duplicate it locally.

I would have thought that if I delete the setup.ins file from \Disk1, and
recompile, it would recreate the file. Such is not the case in my instance.
Does it take a media build or am I on the wrong page?

Hi,
the compiled script is only copied to the currently selected media (the one
that you last ran media build wizard on and that is marke dwith the red
triangle in the Media pane)
