Exclude 'Parent' component not exclude childs under NT, OK under 95 via code

Installshield (V5.53 Pro)

During the installation I exlcude certain components using code. These
exlusions work under WIN9x but not under WINNT. Under WINNT, the excluded
components get whatever even if they have been excluded. It runs the same
code for 95 and NT. The components are structured as follows

Parent
Child1
Child2

Parent has no file groups associated with it, just sub components. Child1
and Child2 have file groups associated with then. I exclude the component
'Parent' , which should in turn exclude all its associated child components
and their file groups from being installed. Its fine under 95 but not NT.
