Creating Folder Icon Problem

I don't know if this is the newsgroup for this question, but I'll try
anyway. I have created an installation and when the icon is setup in
the folder, it initially doesn't find the executable. If I double-click
on it, it says it is searching for the .exe file. However, if I look at
the properties of the icon, and not change anything, but just simple
click ok.....when the box closes the icon for the program appears and
works. What could be causing this???? Has anyone else had this
problem??? Thanks!
