I'm having a problem with overwriting/deleting locked files. My program is
to be used under 98/NT/2000 and under 98 and 2000 when the program
encounters locked files it prompts the user to reboot the machine which is
correct because i have the files in the file group marked as potentially
locked. But the problem is that under NT when my program tries and
overwrite/delete a locked file it doesn't prompt the user for a reboot it
simply puts up a windows diolog box titled "Component transfer error" and
the error is Access is denied. The normal ways of dealing with locked files
don't work for NT. Does anyone know how to fix this?
