I am creating a setup that installs a bunch of asp and html pages. The asp
pages reference a DSN that will be used in the asp pages.
Is there any possible way to have installed create the system dsn on the
machine as the setup is going? Whether it's Access or SQL can it be done?

yes... just create some keys in the registry..
all dsn are stored in therer
