Hello. I'm having problems with the RunOnce key. I am installing an app that
was created using vb6. I need to install mdac 2.1 with my app. I've included
it in my install as an express extension. It runs before any of my other
files are copied. After it runs it prompts to restart windows. I choose to
restart windows, but it just continues with the rest of the install. From
reading some of the messages I have a feeling I need to use the RunOnce key.
I'm just not too clear on how to do that. I would truly appreciate any help.

Thanx! :)

Becky,
In the 'Make Registry Changes' section of your checklist create a new (non
default) value
under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
The value name is not important. Set it's value to point to the location of
your setup.exe.
This usually is <SRCDIR>\setup.exe.

Hope this helps,
