Hey malexia,

I don't understand 'installing'. Could you paste the commands you are using? Has instadmg worked for you in the past? What's different?

Doesn't malexia want to run importDisk.py first? That is how I have always done things...

You don’t need to if the InstallESD is in the InstallerDisc folder. The only other thing I can think of is he has an InstallESD that has a different build number than the ones in the vanilla catalog for the OS.
