For this reason Christ has set us free, that we may be free indeed.

We can choose to hold on to an inferior mindset or we can choose the freedom to be all He has set us free for.

Religion and philosophy will constantly tell you that you can not do it; you will not succeed.

It always paints a pathetic insignificant picture of the real you, just like these elephants.

Its desire is to be able to control you so that you would submit to the system, being slaves under the tyranny of constant condemnation and failure.

2 Pet.2:18 & 19 – “They brag about themselves with empty, foolish boasting. With lustful desire as their bait, they lure back into sin those who have escaped from such wicked living.

They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves to sin and corruption. For you are slaves to whatever controls you”. (NLT)

2 Pet. 1: 19 ‘ We also have the prophetic word made more sure, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.” (NKJV)

That thing which restrains you is only ass strong as the conviction in your own heart.

In the flesh, It appears that I am currently in the most challenging
financial crisis ever experienced in my 52 years, as a result of theft
and betrayal of someone I thought I could trust. How amazing is His
grace to make us see the bigger picture. Our riches are based on His
infinate riches and not based on what we have in our pocket, or what
is owed to us. His love in us is to find NO FAULT in those who harm
us, His mercey causes us to treat other better than they deserve! His
peace in us causes us to be seated in heavenly places, nestled in His
care. nothing can touch us! Our life is hid in HIM! All things that
happen to us, He turns around for His imense glory! By His grace, He
dimms our senses and awaken a joy far beyond the natural!

I am really sorry to hear of the difficulties in which you find yourself,
and that someone you trusted has ripped you off in such a way. It is so
unpleasant, and clearly so undeserved, but we can indeed depend on God to
bring us through a situation like that in a way that is absolutely
unexpected. As you say, our life is hid with Christ in God, and His riches
are ours.

me, and what I did not have, I did not have.

Oh yes, what can be more exciting that this triumphant joyeous life we
live in Him! The Spirit of God that raised Jesus from the death,
dwelling in us! We have the Spirit of adoption of which we cry Abba
Father! Nothing can seperate us from this! What shall we say, If God
be for us, who can be against us?
Romans Revealed chapter 8 is a treat:
Rom 8:9 “But you are not in flesh-mode, you are in spirit-mode, God’s
Spirit is at home in you. Anyone who does not see himself fully
clothed and identified in the Spirit of Christ, cannot be himself.” If
anyone does not embrace (Gr. echo, to have in hand, to hold, in the
sense of wearing like a garment, to possess in mind, to be closely
joined to a person) he is not himself.
We are too caught up in our lack that we cannot see Gods abundance all
ready given to us.We let our circumstances rob us to see what God has
done in our lives.
8:29 “He engineered us from the start to fit the mould of sonship and
likeness according to the exact blueprint of His design. We see the
original and intended shape of our lives preserved in His Son; He is
the firstborn from the same womb that reveals our genesis. He confirms
that we are the invention of God!”
His resurrection co-reveals our common genesis. No wonder He is not
ashamed to call us His brethren! We indeed share the same origin. Heb.
2:14.
8:32 “Without hesitation God abandoned His Son to death for the
redemption of mankind; this grace gift is all inclusive! This leaves
us without any excuse to feel neglected or in lack.” (Everything we
lost in Adam is again restored to us in Christ.)
Sin left man with an enormous shortfall, grace restores man to
excellence! Rom.3:23, Rom.3:21-24, 1Cor.2:7. God had our glory in mind
from the beginning!
8:33 “God has identified us, who can disqualify us? No-one can point a
finger; He justified us!”
He has placed us beyond the reach of blame, guilt, condemnation or
inferiority!
