My fiery love

You have told me how precious I am
Picking me up You always held my hand

You have walked with me
And talked with me
Even when the road was deserted
You never abandoned me
Your cloak of warmth and protection
Always surrounded me

O Lord, O God
How I love thee
Every night in Your arms
I lay me down to sleep

Your tender touch
No one could compare
It fills me with such pleasure
That it's addictive to endure

If only I could describe
The love and passion
You are capable of
Stirring up inside

The fire that rages on
Deep within
Covers me & consumes everything

In Your embrace I am free to dream
And to love with all my heart
Never fearing that You might tear it apart

Your kisses
How sweet they are
Drive me to a place
Deep within
Arousing all the passion
Beneath this skin

I dare not look away
Because I want more
My thirsty soul
Gasps for more of You
My Lord

You wrap Your arms around me
Placing Your head on my chest
On my bosom you find rest

The sent of Your hair
Is so intoxicating
A scent so sweet
It will mesmerize even the best

Your hands are so strong
Yet You have a gentle touch
That's still so soft and warm

You hold me
And in the silence
You mould me
Into Your bride

The relationship between God and a woman is exactly that - a
relationship.
And as woman we are very emotional beings who give of ourselves to
deeply,
yet we want the same in return. Jesus offers that! He says is His word
that
He is our husband, our protector, our provider, our strength and
shield, our
tower of refuge, our hope, our healer, etc. He is all that and more.
So the
relationship between God and a woman can be likened to that of a
husband and
wife, deeply passionate and intimate.

God is not in heaven that He cannot hear you, He hears you and He
knows your
every desire. He loves you so much you could never fathom His love or
measure
it because it's immeasurable. Don't keep Him at such a distance that
He cannot
hold you. He delights in you, He wants to, more than anything hold
you. He wants
more than anything time alone with you. Give Him that time, delight in
Him and
you will see how He shows Himself to you. You will not be able to miss
Him, His
face, His smile, His gifts - oh yes He gives gifts too and His is
worth more than
all the diamonds this earth could ever hold.
