Hey everyone,

We would like to inspect individual user sessions, but I have so far been unable to find out whether that is possible. I found an option titled "Session Capture" in the HTTP sensor, which I enabled. But after restarting the CMR and agents I have not yet found out where the session data can be found.

Additionally, we would like to use the regex tranformation of URIs in the URI Aggregation view, but it seems this option is not available in the UI (according to the documentation, https://inspectit-performance.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOC18/pages/93009397/Http+Sensor). How do I use this feature, if it is still available?

Cheers,
Wouter van der Linde

Hi Wouter,

The session data can be found in the details of the non-aggregated HTTP data (right click -> details) or details of invocation tree items that are related to the incoming HTTP calls.

The regex transformation of URIs is the feature that was there in older inspectIT versions and although the functionality still exists on the agent side, the current UI-based instrumentation configuration does not have an option to activate this feature on the agent. So the feature is only available on the last version of inspectIT that used configuration files.

Hope this helps,
Ivan
