The story so far.....

          A group gathered outside the hospital room of Rupert Merriweather. It was revealed that Merriweather was a professor at Miskatonic University and that everyone outside his room had been asked to come visit before it was too late. Rupert asked his Wife and Son to leave the room so he could speak to these new visitors. Rupert informed the group that in his youth he had been involved with the occult. He was a member of a 6 person group named "The Dark Brotherhood". This group successfully brought some evil into this world and fled before it could kill them all. It did happen to kill one of their group and drove another to permanent insanity. 

          The group was given a box that contained a Journal(written by Merriweather) a miniature Golden Sarcophagus, and the deed and key to a house near Ross's Corners. They immediately set off for the house, while one of their members began reading the journal out loud. The journal contained details of events that seemed almost too real to the group. They pulled over and decided that some research may be necessary before moving on. 

          They arrived at Miskatonic University and found a lot of information on several subjects. They were able to gain a translation of the outside of the box, some information in the newspapers corroborating Merriweather's story, some information on the lost continent of Mu from the occult section, and access to the forbidden book section. While in this section, a commotion was started and two members saw an opportunity. The Professor quickly snagged De Vermiis Mysteriis(the book used to summon the evil thing by Merriweather and the Dark Brotherhood) and the Police officer grabbed a copy of the Eltdown Shards. 

           The group decided to split up at this point. The professor, gangster, minister and Police Officer went to the Professor's Office. The Hobo and the Writer went to Merriweather's house. The Police officer read the Eltdown Shards and gained some insights into the universe. The writer and hobo investigated Merriweather's house to find no one home. They searched his study and found a handgun and a book on the occult. The writer read this book and gained further insight into the occult. The hobo gave the gun to the writer. They then decided to go ahead and head back to the Professor's office, where everyone patiently awaited their return.

2. I did successfully roll a 'Find Hidden' or some shit. Wouldn't be useful to notice if a guy was dead or not?

1. Sure, if you want it. I only took them to keep them in a single location, but if you want yours....well all yours I guess lol

2. That roll wouldn't notice a dead person. A successful Medecine roll can reveal that detail, but not spot hidden.
