First start in WINDOWS issue

HI friends
Im mechanical engineer from Chile. I installed the application in cae linux 2020 and windows; but when i try to start the aplication in windows this doesnt start
can you tell me how to run in windows?
i work whit students and work in windows have several adventajes for new users but the last steps are some difficult for me.
please helpme what i doing bad

Hi,
looks like something went wrong during the installation.
Can you start the "Shell"?
If yes, you may check, whether InsightCAE was installed in the Linux subsystem ("ls /opt/insightcae" should show something). If the directory is not there, then you follow the instructions for Ubuntu 18 to install it in the Linux subsystem.

Please try the following:
* launch the shell
* execute the command:
source /opt/insightcae/bin/insight_setenv.sh
* then start the case builder GUI by executing
isofCaseBuilder

Hi Hannes, im having the same issue, nothing starts, i did as you mentioned on the first post and get the same screen posted above, however after the second command i also get an error.. tried the last command just in case to no avail..

Update, hope i remember everything.. i ended up following the instructions @ https://github.com/hkroeger/insightcae-documentation/commit/89a21df4c5659a8c266d9a1fb9bb131dd54bb055
Eventually i got stuck at line 188 since workbench would not run, i checked the shortcut and run "bash -lc workbench" directly in the console and it worked.. a GUI opened. I closed it and restarted my PC as instructed on line 195.
Run the Start Menu "workbench" shortcut but had the same issue, a console opened and closed immediately as before.
i opened the linux console again, and the following events are evident on the console screenshot

As a result, the case builder showed up
If i open a console in the main InsightCAE directory and run "source /opt/insightcae/bin/insight_setenv.sh", i can then run either "workbench" or "isofCaseBuilder" or "iscad"

Hello,
I try to install Insight CAE on Windows10.
I have download and execute the file here
I have install all dependencies, when I execute the Workbench App I have the following message
When I select "select existing" for the WSL I don't know how to complete the following windows
My WSL is install in the folder:
C:\Users\julie\AppData\Local\Packages\CanonicalGroupLimited.UbuntuonWindows_79rhkp1fndgsc
I try a lot of combinaisons but without success. Could you help me please?

Dear Julien,
you need to select "Create" in the first place.
The WSL backend for InsightCAE lays on our server, it will then be downloaded and installed.
