Hello Everyone,

I am looking some suggestions for the below REQ

- Ethernet devices auto detection mechanism in linux system programmatically using user application

I found udevlib APIs for any type devices detection in Linux environment. Probably this is one option to start.

Could you please let me know if any other options...

Yes udevlib is the defacto standard nowadays.

I also observed there is another sd-device and mentioned that it is replacement for libudev and looks like new library.

Please suggest different options linux library for auto detect and communicate the devices like ethernet devices and CAN devices from user application.

Yes. Earlier it was used only internal to the systemd implementation, as it was evolving. Now, it seems to have stabilized & been announced for public use.
