Hello Anil Sir,

NAPI does the bottom half work in a network subsystem. My understanding is NAPI pass on the data to the upper layer. Is the upper layer processing also done in NAPI i.e., the same softirq context?

Nop. Only whatever is written in our poll function is done in softirq context. Upper layer processing is typically independent of that.
