RAM integration with layerscape processor

Hello Techies,

I have a layerscape SOC and wanted to connect  K4A4G085WE (2GB = 512MB x 4 ) Samsung RAM with it, what parameter should be required to validate it to check RAM compatibility ?  Apart from hardware connection, my queries are from the perspective of  DDR controllers, timing parameters , RAM initialization and SPL software point of view.

Typically, Memory Controllers are flexible enough to support a wide range of RAMs. Just check that the particular memory controller supports the particular family of RAM, you are planning to connect, e.g. DDR3, DDR4, ...
