I was shooting wedding a few days ago. Unfrotunately while filming a wedding cake, my video camcorder battery has gone bad, failed and turned off. It was done while recording, so file saving was not corrected properly or even was not done at all. I inserted a new good battery to video camera and turn it on. I got a question: "Would you like to repair the corrupted files?". Unfortunaely after clicking "Yes", the corrupted files was not repaired.
I am 42. I have been creating videos since 2009 (the date when my first daughter was born in). My first video software was Pinnacle, next one was Sony Vegas 8 (I am not sure if remember it correctly). I am also a developer and wedding movie operator and editor. I tried DJIFix application written by DJI drone developers to fix something similiar, but unfortunately the output video is not as good as I expected to be. It is both too short and contains bad blocks on video.

Yes, I tried this soft today morning. I have less efficient notebook at work that's why I was not able to check if it is playing smoothlight and without any unneeded glitch or bad sectors. I will check at home where I have more effictient CPU and GPU on my PC.
Did you get a smooth and perfect video after repairing by Grauonline.de software? Or maybe it conteinted some of bad sections on video i.e. glitch, not smooth video etc.?
I checked demo of graulonline.de software, but unfortunately the repaired video is completely useless. I will not purchase this software. It contains even green frames on the video. As I see gave me the best result so far, but unfortunately the cost of repair is too expensive for me. If they gave me the possibility to unlimited repairs, I would purchase it.
The repaired file for the AX53 came out ok except for the audio which was garbled. It didn't matter though coz I did record external audio into a portable audio recorder. But towards the end, the video started to glitch and speed up like the frame rate doubled. The iPhone7+/Filmic Pro footage had a lot of glitching and for some reason, I was unable to render it out or transcode it. I would get green frames as a result. I remedied that by playing the restored file on a Sony UBP-X700 blu-ray player (streamed it off an external hard drive), and captured the output to my Intensity Pro 4K.
Remember: the less modifications you do on your storage media that holds damaged video file(s), the higher the chance for recovery! For instance, if you accidentally deleted your videos on a file system level (e.g. with File Manager or Media Player) and then used Recuva / Get Data Back / File Recovery / Various Undelete apps to restore the files and then you find out they are not playable, there is a very low chance this procedure will actually help you in that case!
The above dir command will list your files and directories, along file sizes in bytes, and you should see all of them in the list (e.g. ffmpeg.exe, recover_mp4.exe, your good.mp4 and bad.mp4 files and so on). From there, you should follow up tutorial exactly as in the video.

Answer: Unfortunately, this file is, indeed, non-repairable because there is NOTHING to repair! If you open your bad.mp4 video file with a HEX Editor (low-level file utility that reads all files in their true binary formats), you will see that except maybe the header, entire file is filled with 0 bytes. This means that either there was a storage recovery error, copy-paste error, and that the actual file content is permanently lost on the storage medium. Your only hope, if the file was previously accidentally deleted, is to use another scan and recovery tool, that might recover it properly.
