As you can see from the photo above, I don't see the email and password authentication option. It is missing in my Firebase tool. I am trying to create a login and log out activity sample app and I wanted to use the email and password authentication option, but it is not here at all. Anyone knows where can I find it/ enable it?

If you haven't already, add Firebase to your Android project.

  • If you haven't yet connected your app to your Firebase project, do so from the Firebase console.
  • Enable Email/Password sign-in:
    1. In the Firebase console, open the Auth section.
    2. On the Sign in method tab, enable the Email/password sign-in method and click Save.
  • In your module (app-level) Gradle file(usually //build.gradle.kts or//build.gradle),add the dependency for the Firebase Authentication library for Android. We recommend using theFirebase Android BoMto control library versioning.

Some Firebase Authentication methods that take email addresses as parameters throwspecific errors if the email address is unregistered when it must be registered(for example, when signing in with an email address and password), or registeredwhen it must be unused (for example, when changing a user's email address). While this can be helpful for suggesting specific remedies to users, it can alsobe abused by malicious actors to discover the email addresses registered by yourusers.

To mitigate this risk, we recommend you enable email enumeration protectionfor your project using the Google Cloud gcloud tool. Note that enabling thisfeature changes Firebase Authentication's error reporting behavior: be sure your appdoesn't rely on the more specific errors.

Is there a reason you are avoiding the SMTP activities? If you use Send SMTP, for example, you can just use your email and password, and then use the port and server as given by Microsoft (Ie. for Outlook email - Server: smtp.office365.com - Port: 587 - Encryption: STARTTLS).

To change your Ads Creative Studio password, follow the instructions to change your Google Account password. Note that this will change your password for all Google services you sign in to with the same email address, like Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, and so on.

If you don't use Gmail, you can change the email address for your account. This change will affect all Google products you use, so other Google products might send emails to this email address and you'll have to sign in to all products using this email address.

Once you've saved your changes, you should receive a verification message at the email address you just entered. To complete the changes, you'll need to click the verification link in this message. You should also receive a message at your old email address confirming that you're no longer using this email to sign in.

You can add an email address that is not already the primary email address on another Google Account. Alternate email addresses function nearly the same as your primary email address. You can use alternate email addresses to sign in and receive notifications, among other things.

We'll send an email with a verification link to your alternate email address. You'll need to open the email and click the link before you can begin signing in to your account with the alternate email address.

I have the same problem. I started Mbed studio and tried running the mbed-os-example-blinky. I used the NUCLEO-F401Re board, which is recognised by MBED studio. However, I cannot expand the mbed-os-exampke-blinky in the workspace. A rotation sign appears.

But anytime I try to create an mbed account on the browser it just logs me in using my arm account - the same arm account that is not being accepted by mbed studio. Is there any work around this because this is getting quite frustrating now.

App Center supports several identity options for creating accounts. Customers can choose GitHub, Microsoft, Facebook, and Google based auth providers when signing up. This allows for more flexibility, but can be confusing for customers using a work email. This guide details some things to keep in mind in that case.

Some work email addresses are backed by Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AAD). New customers with these types of email accounts don't need to sign-up for App Center accounts using the traditional sign-up. Instead they can immediately use the main sign-in button:

Customers who want to use a custom email address with their account can do so by clicking the button indicated in the image below, and creating a Microsoft Account (MSA) with the custom email address.

Suppose you used GitHub as the identity provider during your account registration. After your first successful login attempt, the system secures GitHub as the only valid authentication method for the email address. Even if the same email address is used in other identity providers such as Facebook or Google, the system will reject any login attempt using other identity provider with the error message above.

App Center used to provide an option to create an account using an email address and password without tying it to the identity provider. We no longer support this signup method, however, the existing users can continue using our service with this authentication. For example, if you used Gmail address when signing up for App Center, make sure to log in with your email address and password. Your attempt to use Google as an identity provider won't work as this association is not made in the system.

Hi team,
I recently changed my email id in outsystems. I am able to login to Outsystems portal, But I am unable to login to the Service studio and service center with the new email id. I tried using the old id also, but still unable to login.

It has no error message when I log in my Service Studio Environment. I have tried to log in to Lifetime and Service Center, it show me 'Invalid username or password.'. I tried to change my account password, but it doesn't work when I log in to Lifetime and Service Center twice.

If you're receiving an "invalid username or password" error while trying to access Lifetime or the Service Center, double-check your credentials to ensure you've entered the correct username and password. If you're certain they are correct, consider the following steps:

Reset your password: Try resetting your password through the "Forgot Password" option on the login page. Follow the instructions provided to reset your password and try logging in again.

If your Mac is connected to the internet but suddenly stops sending or receiving email, you should generally try again later, and if necessary work with your email provider to resolve. If you're using Apple's iCloud Mail, learn how to resolve issues with iCloud Mail.

Many email providers offer webmail, which is a way to use email with a web browser such as Safari, instead of with an email app such as Mail. For example, if you're using an iCloud Mail account, you can use iCloud.com to send and receive email.

Webmail is a good way to verify that your account is valid, but it doesn't mean that your account is set up correctly in Mail on your Mac. Your email provider can help you verify your email settings and check for other issues that affect sending or receiving email.

See the following sections for instructions on changing your email account password for several major email providers. If your email account provider isn't listed, contact your admin or the email provider's help desk.

Other email accounts will require you to change your email account password on the website for the account provider. For example, to change the password for an Xfinity account, go to the Xfinity website and follow the prompts. Many email account providers have slightly different steps for changing a password.

For any related support queries, please remember to include your Platform ID and a screenshot of the in-game main menu where the version number is visible (bottom right corner). If you are unable to do this, sharing the email associated with your Apex Connect account also works.

GitHub credentials include not only your password, but also the access tokens, SSH keys, and application API tokens you use to communicate with GitHub. Should you have the need, you can reset all of these access credentials yourself.

Enter the email address associated with your account on GitHub.com, then click Send password reset email. The email will be sent to the backup email address if you have one configured.

We'll email you a link that will allow you to reset your password. You must click on this link within 3 hours of receiving the email. If you didn't receive an email from us, make sure to check your spam folder.

If you have GitHub Mobile, you will be sent a push notification to verify your identity. Open the push notification or the GitHub Mobile app and enter the two-digit code shown to you on the password reset page in your browser.

If you have forgotten your password and you've lost access to your two-factor authentication credentials, click Start a 2FA recovery request. For more information, see "Recovering your account if you lose your 2FA credentials."

When you type a password to sign in, create an account, or change your password, GitHub will check if the password you entered is considered weak according to datasets like HaveIBeenPwned. The password may be identified as weak even if you have never used that password before.

If you have reset your account password and would also like to trigger a sign-out from the GitHub Mobile app, you can revoke your authorization of the "GitHub iOS" or "GitHub Android" OAuth app. This will sign out all instances of the GitHub Mobile app associated with your account. For additional information, see "Reviewing and revoking authorization of GitHub Apps."

In the Windows Authentication dialog, enter your Telerik credentials. For example, user: my....@my.company.com and password: myPassPhraseForTelerikDotCom.
