As you can see from the photo above, I don't see the email and password authentication option. It is missing in my Firebase tool. I am trying to create a login and log out activity sample app and I wanted to use the email and password authentication option, but it is not here at all. Anyone knows where can I find it/ enable it?
If you haven't already,add Firebase to your Android project.
- If you haven't yet connected your app to your Firebase project, do so from the Firebase console.
- Enable Email/Password sign-in:
- In the Firebase console, open the Auth section.
- On the Sign in method tab, enable the Email/password sign-in method and click Save.
- In your module (app-level) Gradle file(usually //build.gradle.kts or//build.gradle),add the dependency for the Firebase Authentication library for Android. We recommend using theFirebase Android BoMto control library versioning.
Some Firebase Authentication methods that take email addresses as parameters throwspecific errors if the email address is unregistered when it must be registered(for example, when signing in with an email address and password), or registeredwhen it must be unused (for example, when changing a user's email address).While this can be helpful for suggesting specific remedies to users, it can alsobe abused by malicious actors to discover the email addresses registered by yourusers.
To mitigate this risk, we recommend you enable email enumeration protectionfor your project using the Google Cloud gcloud tool. Note that enabling thisfeature changes Firebase Authentication's error reporting behavior: be sure your appdoesn't rely on the more specific errors.
Is there a reason you are avoiding the SMTP activities? If you use Send SMTP, for example, you can just use your email and password, and then use the port and server as given by Microsoft (Ie. for Outlook email - Server: smtp.office365.com - Port: 587 - Encryption: STARTTLS).

I have the same problem. I started Mbed studio and tried running the mbed-os-example-blinky. I used the NUCLEO-F401Re board, which is recognised by MBED studio. However, I cannot expand the mbed-os-exampke-blinky in the workspace. A rotation sign appears.
But anytime I try to create an mbed account on the browser it just logs me in using my arm account - the same arm account that is not being accepted by mbed studio. Is there any work around this because this is getting quite frustrating now.
App Center supports several identity options for creating accounts. Customers can choose GitHub, Microsoft, Facebook, and Google based auth providers when signing up. This allows for more flexibility, but can be confusing for customers using a work email. This guide details some things to keep in mind in that case.
Some work email addresses are backed by Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AAD). New customers with these types of email accounts don't need to sign-up for App Center accounts using the traditional sign-up. Instead they can immediately use the main sign-in button:

Suppose you used GitHub as the identity provider during your account registration. I recently changed my email id in outsystems. I am able to login to Outsystems portal, But I am unable to login to the Service studio and service center with the new email id. I tried using the old id also, but still unable to login.

If you're receiving an "invalid username or password" error while trying to access Lifetime or the Service Center, double-check your credentials to ensure you've entered the correct username and password. If you're certain they are correct, consider the following steps:
Reset your password: Try resetting your password through the "Forgot Password" option on the login page. Follow the instructions provided to reset your password and try logging in again.
