RealPlayer Mobile is immediately available worldwide as a free app for Apple and Android devices in the Apple iOS App and Google Play stores. This newest version of RealPlayer for Windows is available for immediate download at: www.real.com.
Although in many ways they perform as tiny computers, these small mobile devices require different operating system software at their core. Special CPUs, limited power and memory constraints also come into play, making it essential to design mobile video players from the ground up. Video consumes a lot of power and puts huge stress on the CPU and graphics capabilities of the device, so both the content and the mobile video player itself must be optimized to work together.
These and many other mobile video players are available either from the Android Market or Apple App Store. You can search, review and download directly through your mobile device and starting using immediately. Depending on the product you select, you should be able to play nearly every video file format including; AVI, MPEG-2, MP4, WMV, DIVX, XVID, MOV, FLV and others. For users who watch a lot of video, an MP4 player is practically a requirement. Choosing an MP4 player is easy, even for a video novice.
2. Close all other applications and web pages unless they must be open. Unnecessary page connections eat up bandwidth that can be devoted to the video. More RAM can also be allocated to the media player.
i guess there is not a video player for nokia 5230 smart phone then?? And where can i get videos to play on my phillips go gear vibe (mp4 player) ? Remembering that normal mp4 videos do not play on this device, phillips can not tell me of any third party software to use on my laptop to download these particular mp4 videos,
I agree with Anurag. There is NO icon for Chromecast anywhere to be seen on the RealPlayer Cloud screen. Where did you hide it? If this does not work I will uninstall RealPlayer real fast. Chromecast is the principal reason for downloading the program.
>Download Google Chrome browser from:
>Then, you can create free Cloud account by visting: cloud.real.com
>After creating, you can upload videos to your Cloud account using Google Chrome.
>Install the Chromecast extension in your Google Chrome.
>Then go to cloud.real.com & click on Chromsecast icon in Google Chrome to cast videos.
I have had installed Real player cloud on my computer, Laptop and tablet. After the installation all of my devices started to get frozen, and working very slow. Its worst app I have ever downloaded on my devices.
I installed realplayer cloud on my android phone and can successfully chromecast the intro videos as well as a 3gp video I had stored on my phone, but when I chromecast the mp4 videos that I have stored locally on my phone I get sound but no video. The TV screen is black. When I play them on my phone without chromecasting I get both video and sound.
You have to add a radio button of chromecast to the downloadable version of the real player cloud. Then only it is useful. otherwise nothing special on this. It is a long and boring process to first upload to cloud then cast. Are u mad to offer such a blunder. iF U OFFER SOMETHING IT SHULD USEFUL TO PEOPLE THOSE WHO USING THE APPLICATION. OTHER WISE JUST DO NOT TRY TO MAKE THE WORLD FOOL.
This is absolutely stupid. In order to use realplayer with chromecast we cant watch it from our computer. We have to upload the file to realplayer cloud, then login from our browser to watch it.
Really? This is the best realplayer could do? Uninstall
i just installed the app but not to upload the videos lol. its better to cast videos from streaming websites. real player is good, however, need improvements to have a chromecast icon and theres no need to upload videos, just a waste of time.
I am so excited to have Chromcast BUT
IT DOESNT WORK as well as i thought
Very Disappointed
1) video of mine thro realplayer Cloud either wont play at all : the blue circle just goes round and round, Or, it plays without v the volume
2) Pandora on chromecast buffers and payses every 10 to 60 seconds, cant even enjoy a whole song!
I use real player for my sound system but I have never requested Cloud and have not signed up for it. I find that several research videos have been stolen by cloud and now have a cloud icon. I am unable to access these files and need them urgently for my work. How do I get them back without signing in to your services which I will never do because I do not agree to your contract. I want to be able to store and move my files as I wish. to use on or off line. Give me my files back or I will take legal action to sue for my costs in replacing these files.

As a container format, MKV has the capability of handling virtually unlimited streams of digital media. In addition to multiple tracks of audio and video, an MKV file player can read subtitles, chapter points, menus, and other information called metadata encoded in the format. One example is a sports event or a music concert where multiple camera angles are being sent simultaneously for users to select from in real time while viewing. Even 3D video that requires the synchronized playing of two matching, but slightly offset, video streams to create the stereoscopic effect can be a Matroska file. These powerful features open new creative possibilities for content producers and ultimately, the enjoyment of users.
Although RealPlayer is not a native MKV file player, MKV is open standard software. That means its underlying computer code can be used freely by anyone, including developers of digital media products. Open standards also simplify legal matters for companies wishing to incorporate the MKV file extension in their products.
Adding MKV is done with a Codec Pack. This software allows RealPlayer to recognize, open, decode, and play Matroska files. In the case of Matroska, the recommended product is the Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP.) Oddly enough, Matroska did make their own MVK codec pack, but discontinued development because they considered the CCCP version to be much better. The CCCP codec pack is a free mkv player download.
