I believe this is a bug, I've come across this before, and for some reason it disappeared, I have no idea how I fixed it, and recently it has reappeared.

The clipboard sharing function only works from the client to the director, not the other way around. When I copy a text in the client and paste it in the director, it works normally, but when I try to do the same, but with a text from the director to the client, it doesn't work. No error notifications, it just doesn't work.

On both computers the "Share clipboard" checkbox is checked, with the same option in the menu next to it selected "File copy/paste enabled", and I recently upgraded to v2.1.4, but the problem remains :(

Anyone can help?

Hi,

Try setting the preferred network in Input Director on both computers. Instructions on how to do so can be found here. If that doesn't work, contact me and I'll try and work out what's going on.

Shane.

I'm experiencing a similar issue, however, sometimes I can copy one-way, and other times I can't copy at all.
On my client system I will get a popup stating that it could not read from the remote clipboard.
However, all other aspects of ID seem to work.

I did follow your instructions above to specify the NIC on both systems.

Both are running Win 11, one is my work laptop (which is often connected to a VPN) and the other is a personal system.

I am running v2.1.4(build159) on both, also.
