Input Director on Ubuntu

I read about linux support in last year's posts.
Is it possible to know if ID will support Linux slaves (or Synergy
slaves)?
Is it something on the way?

Hi JP,

At this stage I haven't planned to do anything in the near future. I
just don't have the time at the moment to develop a Linux or Mac
version.

I have heard from a user (though I haven't tried this myself) that you
can run Synergy and Input Director concurrently. So, Synergy is used
to move the mouse to the Linux/Mac clients and Input Director handles
all the Windows slaves. As long as you don't set Input Director and
Synergy to transition on the same monitor edge, it supposedly works.
