Just a few quick recommendations, from an avid, long term user.

1. You need a monthly donation feature. Perhaps a Patreon account would work for this?
2. The two things I really need (and adding these would prompt me to offer a continuous monthly donations) is:
  1. The ability to identify which screen is which when arranging screens. This could be done with an identify monitor button.
  2. The ability to place a slave screen anywhere around a master screen. For example, if you have 5 screens, arranged in the below formation, where s is slave and m is master. To be able go from m1 to the left to s1 and also to be able to go from m4 to s2 from the left or m1 to s2 to the bottom would be a major arrangement improvement.
s1   m1   m2   m3
        s2    m4

I realize that not everyone uses screens like this, but the power to connect to the same slave screen from multiple master screens and be able to detach monitors from arrangement groups, would really complete the needed feature set for ID.

Kindly,

Andrew B

Hi,

  1. The ability to identify which screen is which when arranging screens. This could be done with an identify monitor button.
This is in scope and will be added to either the next immediate release or the one after.

  1. The ability to place a slave screen anywhere around a master screen. For example, if you have 5 screens, arranged in the below formation, where s is slave and m is master. To be able go from m1 to the left to s1 and also to be able to go from m4 to s2 from the left or m1 to s2 to the bottom would be a major arrangement improvement.
s1   m1   m2   m3
        s2    m4

Can you clarify - does s1 and s2 represent the same monitor attached to the same client system?

Thanks,

Shane.

I believe he is talking about the same client but different monitors. I am in a similar situation where I have my main monitor screen flanked by 2 monitors from a different computer. So basically:

S1  M1  S2

Right now the slave screens can only be next to each other. It would be nice to be able to separate them out so I can have one on either side of the director(main) screen.

Thank you for your time,

- Tim
