Hi everyone!

I hope you can help me. I have 2 laptops at home, one is connected to
a wireless router and in the other one I use WiFi. I stumbled upon ID
at work, because the Network Admin uses it, and I liked it a lot. So
I'm looking forward to use it at home.

I know a little bit of networking, but I'm not that wise in wireless
networking. I followed the instructions as it's stated in your
website, and when I attempted to add the other laptop to the slave
systems and it said that it couldn't find it.

So far my home network config stands as follows:

Wireless router: 192.168.2.1 (Belkin Wireless G Router)
Laptop: 192.168.2.2 (running XP Home SP3)
PC: 192.168.2.3 (running Vista Home Premium Edition)

The wireless network is fine, both machines can connect to the
internet and can ping the router

However when I try to ping one machine from the other, the requests
time out.

How do I make it so that each machine can see the other one on the
network?

Hi,

It sounds like something needs to be changed in your router
configuration to allow your 2 computers to communicate with each
other. It might be worth have a hunt through the official support
boards / faqs at Belkin to see if other users have hit (and solved
this problem) before.

Regs,

Shane.
