A more noticeable transition effect

My vision is not the best and sometimes I lose track of the mouse cursor between my two displays. Unfortunately the ripple effect does not help much, especially on white backgrounds (e.g. most web pages) it is barely noticeable for me.

I would love a more noticeable transition effect, like slightly dimming the inactive display, or briefly flashing a thin frame around the active display.
