I understand input director is pretty much just for using mouse and keyboard on multiple displays, but I don't know everything about it. I'm curious if there is a way to have my headphones connected to one computer, and hear the sounds in the other.
I'm using a desktop as my main computer (master) and my laptop as the secondary computer (slave), and I don't see any way this could work, but I wanna know if it's possible. Also, is there a way to move windows to the other display? For example, moving google chrome tabs to the secondary computer. I really like this software because it doesn't lag my mouse movements or keyboard inputs at all, unlike other ones I've tried, but I wish it had these features.

Hi Souls,

No - Input Director doesn't re-route sound between computers.

I played around with having one computer receive audio from a second computer using a simple audio cable (headphone jack on 2nd computer -> Audio In on main computer). At the time, I had a dedicated sound card on the main computer and was able to mix the audio input (from 2nd computer) using the included sound card software. The results were just OK. It was tough to get the 2nd computer's audio to sound all that great, but I suppose with some more time it could have been made into a usable solution.
