An internal Error occured when enabling Input Director

Hi, Input Director was working fine since  couple of months, all of a sudden, yesterday, whenever I start it I get a dialogbox indicating:

An internal Error occured when enabling Input Director

I stopped/restarted the service but it did not help, all after clicking on OK button, all other buttons are disabled and cant do anything
