I used the Input Director for quite awhile and it was working flawlessly. Yesterday I reinstalled Windows on one of my machines and for some reason the Input Director no longer works on this PC. There are no errors, it just does not work. On the primary screen of ID there are two buttons "Enable Input Director" and "Disable Input Director". Normally when you press the enable button it grays out, the ID starts up and the disable button becomes available. In my case, when I press the enable button it grays out and nothing else happens. ID does not work, and both enable and disable buttons are grayed out. Another symptom is the fact that I cannot save any settings. I can edit security and general settings, but when I turn ID off none of them are saved.
I have no idea what could have happened. I have a fresh install of Windows OS. My current OS is Windows 10 and my old OS was also Windows 10 and it was working perfectly. The only hardware that changed is the system SSD, everything else is the same.
Input Director version: 2.2
Windows version: Windows 10 Pro 22H2
I am not sure if I can provide any logs to help to diagnose this issue. While I had this issue there were no errors or warnings in the Windows event log.
