no key repeat in some apps on client system

Hi, I've noticed this since upgrading to 2.1.4 but it may have been present before, too:

In at least one app on my client system holding some keyboard keys fails to fire repeat events. Specifically, I've noticed it when trying to scroll with arrow keys in Firefox. (Tested with add-ons both enabled and disabled.) If I switch to the native keyboard it works fine.

This seems to be a complicated problem because it's app-specific. For example, repeated keys work fine to scroll the same pages in Chrome. But I thought I'd mention it here in case anyone has experienced the same or has a solution/workaround?

Hello,

Same problem here. Also in Firefox, for scrolling or moving the cursor in web text fields.

Is this discussion group a place where the product maintainers are also reading or should we submit bugs to somewhere else?
