  • Hello-
  • Something I have never experienced before with Input Director. This is happening to only one of the connected slave PCs. Other slave PCs acting normally.

      • Happens almost exclusively on program pop-up windows. In other words, mouse works fine most of the time except when a program pops open an input window to make a selection or choice. Then, only when the cursor is inside the pop-up window,  the mouse exhibits an extreme "rubber-band" lag effect and makes it very difficult to use accurately.

  • This does NOT happen with a mouse connected directly to the slave PC.

I have updated all the drivers to the best of my knowledge but problem still persists.

All PCs in use are latest build Windows 11. Slave PC in question is Lenovo Yoga (model 83DN) with Nvidia Geforce RTX4050 graphics.

Any ideas?

Yesterday my cursor moved  like randomly by it self in the second computer, like a second  person was inside the computer, looking for something, it stoped at the icons, really weird, totally

Hi,

Is this happening all the time, or only when playing a game?

Regs,

Shane.

I'm not playing games on these computers. It happens even with no apps running at all other then something as simple as - for example -  a File Explorer window. The mouse will act fine over the main window, but when I click on "New" and try to move the mouse down the list of the pop-up menu it begins to lag (eg I can move my mouse down to the last choice and it will take the cursor more than 2 seconds to catch up. Once the cursor makes it out of the pop up window it then acts normal).

I have, however, now noticed that every now and then, maybe for about 5 minutes or so at a time, this actually stops happening and everything seems normal. I am currently in the process of trying to determine a difference in the state of Windows when that happens (using System Explorer and kdif ) but haven't had any success so far.
