Cursor freezes when switching slave from home internet connection to another connection

I can control all my slaves perfectly on my home internet connection IE: same connection for master and slave.  When I attempt to change the internet connection on one of the slaves, the cursor instantly freezes and I cannot control that slave anymore nor move the cursor.  I can only use a hotkey to get back to the master.  

If it helps, I recently moved and had to set up my computers at a new location.

Any help would be appreciated.
