Can't transition between systems after some hours

Hi, I have a laptop and a desktop PC and control them with ID. But after some hours I cannot transition from the laptop to the PC, for example. I can see that the PC recognizes my move to the laptop border by showing the media controls in fullscreen Twitch, but it won't let me move the mouse to the PC and says the system is not responding. So I have no idea how I can let work ID a whole day without transition problems.

Hi Stefan,

If a VPN client is being activated then that can cause issues with similar symptoms. 

Try following these instructions to set the preferred network on both computers and see if that helps.

Thank you.  I set the preferred network but it is not solving the disconnect. I have my laptop connected by WLAN and my PC by LAN in my home network. I can click "check system availability" and then my PC jumps back from red to green. But it would be better if ID would scan automatically the availability and sets itself to green, when it finds a system. I don't want my system to be skipped, I just want to have my laptop and PC connected and use the mouse like a remote device to change music on my PC when I am on my laptop. In the best case they are always connected, because ID runns on both systems as autostart.
